CarePartners is looking to send interested students to school to become

PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKERS

Responsibilities

A Personal Support Worker is responsible for Personal Care, Liftrs and Transfers, meal Preparation/Nutrition, Cognitive, social and or / Emotional Support, Adaptive Aids, Home Management, Medication, Palliative Care, Maintains a Safe Environment, Reporting and Communication.

Qualifications and Position Requirements

You must bring in a resume and have a successful interview

Must have a clear Vulnerable Sector Search from the police station and a clear Background Check

Have a Pre-Entrance fitness test and an immunization report

Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance or restrictions

Flexibility to provide client care with no restrictions

Total Compensation and Benefits

Specifics to be discussed at time of interview.

*If the student does not complete the Personal Support Worker program or does not agree to work for CarePartners for the agreed upon amount of time upon graduation, that student must pay back CarePartners the full amount of the program costs.
