Meet our CEO, Linda Knight

I started CarePartners as a home care nursing agency in 1984 in a village called Belgrave in midwestern Ontario. It is amazing to see how we have grown to a company of 4,500 employees providing a full array of community health care services across the province. I believed in 1984 as I do now that it is possible to create a work place where health care professionals love to come to work and are able to do their best work every day. And research shows what we already know intuitively, when health care professionals like their work, patients get great care.

As the Ministry of Health focuses on managing its limited resources in an environment where the demand for service is growing, we all know providing health care is not without its challenges. But I sincerely believe that this is also a time of great opportunity….innovative technology is connecting and supporting home care staff like never before and we are finding new ways to deliver better care every year. We are at the beginning of a major transformation of home care and I am so glad all of us at CarePartners will be at the forefront.
